Peanut butter macadamia brownie crispies is a great alternative to peanut butter pie s. The ingredients you will need are:
- 1 package family-style brownie mix
- 2 cups mini-marshmallows
- 1 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup crispy rice cereal
- 1/4 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
Start off preheating the oven to 350 degrees and line a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with nonstick foil. Prepare and bake the brownies as directed on your box. Remove it from oven. Sprinkle it with marshmallows on the top and bring it back to the oven. Bake three minutes longer. Let it cool to room temperature. Combine choc chips and peanut butter in the top of a double-boiler. Stir till the choc chips are melted and everything is combined. (You might also make use of the microwave to softly melt the choc chips.) Add crispy rice cereal and macadamia nuts and mix well. Spread the mixture over marshmallow layer. Refrigerate it until the topping is firm. Cut it into bars to serve. Refrigerate any leftovers.
