Verizon is well known for their wireless service, but many are now taking advantage of their cable TV offer. Unfortunately, this service is not available to everyone but if you live in the eastern part of America or in California, there is a good chance you can get this service. But how does it compare with the deals that cable television companies offer?
Verizon Fios deals are very similar, in that they offer you a discount as a new customer, and this lasts for one year. While the triple play deals from Comcast and Time Warner are usually priced at about $99 a month, Verizon has done them one better by offering prices at $89.95 per month. Keep in mind this is discounted $40 a month, so you will be paying around $130 after the deal ends. In addition, the price does not include DVR service, though some of the offers include the Fios DVR free at the beginning of the deal.
