Oklahoma Motorcycle Insurance Minimums

In Oklahoma, you are required by law to have a certain amount of oklahoma motorcycle insurance liability coverage. The amounts are as follows

$10,000Injury or death of one person per accident $20,000Injury or death of two or more persons per accident $10,000For property damage per accident

Keep in mind that you’re not limited to the minimum amounts. You’re free to increase your protection with additional types of coverage.

Rates vary from provider to provider. So before choosing an insurance company, do yourself a favor and shop around for a budget-friendly rate.

No insurance discounts are available for wearing a helmet in Oklahoma. As is, helmets are required for riders under 18 regardless of insurance coverage amounts. However, the state does offer a three-year insurance discount for participating in the Oklahoma Rider Education Program which is a safety program that teaches the skills and mindset to stay safe on the road.
